SikaTop^® Seal 105 is used for waterproofing many interior and exterior items, providing restoration as well as resistance to frost and de-icing agents. Products applied to many fields of waterproofing in construction such as: water tanks, basements, retaining walls, balconies, terraces, bridges, etc.

Storage conditions SikaTop^® Seal 105

SikaTop^® Seal 105 products must be stored safely in their original, unopened and undamaged packaging between 5°C and 30°C in a dry environment. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

Volumetric mass:

• Component A: ~1.02 kg/liter
• Component B: ~1.40 kg/liter (mass by volumetric dump)
• Freshly mixed mortar: ~2.10 kg/liter
• Component A : B: 1 : 4.0 (by mass)
• Composition A : B : 1 : 2.9 (by volume)
• Consumption density: Waterproofing bathroom, terrace, balcony: 1.5 kg/m2/layer
• Waterproofing for places with water pressure up to 1m: 1.5 kg/m2/layer
• Waterproof for places with water pressure over 1m or frost resistant: 2.0 kg/m2/layer
• Always apply two coats.

Note: it may be necessary to apply 3 coats for areas with severe water damage.

Construction solution SikaTop^® Seal 105

- Surface preparation:

Concrete and mortar surfaces must be free of grease and other impurities. The surface of the absorbent material must be completely saturated before applying the first coat of SikaTop^® Seal 105.

- Mix:

Under normal circumstances, when both ingredients are mixed together, a thick, viscous mixture is formed. Mix in a clean bucket, slowly adding the powder ingredients to the liquid ingredients using an electric mixer at low speed (approximately 500 rpm).

- Application: Apply the first coat when the surface is still damp due to saturation. Allow the product to harden for about 4-8 hours at temperatures above 20oC before applying the second coat. Has a paste-like consistency and is applied with a brush or stiff nylon bristled brush. When applying on floors, to avoid the risk of damaging the first coat, wait 24 hours before applying the second coat. If the second coat is applied 12 hours or later, the first coat must be sprayed with a small amount of water first.

- Curing: Usually not required, but care should be taken if applying in direct sunlight or windy places.

- Clean tools: Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be cleaned mechanically
